National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (988)

Provides 24-hour, 7-day assistance connecting people to skilled, trained crisis workers who will listen to problems and describe local mental health services.

King County 24-hour Crisis Line

Connects people in physical, emotional, and financial crisis to services that will be of help to reduce immediate emotional distress and defuse crises for individuals, families, and the community.

Washington Recovery Help Line

Provides 24-hour emotional support and referrals to local treatment services for residents with substance abuse, problem gambling, and mental health disorders.

SAMHSA Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator

A locator for substance abuse and mental health treatment programs around the country. Provides information for individuals and family members in both English and Spanish.

UWMC Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic

Provides outpatient psychotherapy and psychiatry services, including care for substance use and addiction.

 

Washington State Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Gatherings of people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other with the goal of solving their common problem and helping others recover from alcoholism or problems with alcohol. 

Washington State Marijuana Anonymous (MA)

Find information about the  Marijuana Anonymous Twelve Step program of recovery. Meetings are get-togethers that occur in-person, online, and by phone.
 

Seattle Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship of recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. If you have a problem with drugs, call the 24-hour hotline or come to one of the meetings.

The Trevor Project

Provides 24/7 crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning young people ages 13-24.
 

Trans Lifeline

This line is primarily for transgender people experiencing a crisis. This includes people who may be struggling with their gender identity and are not sure that they are transgender.

Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center

Formerly called Gay City, Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center has resources for emotional health and support, including a 24-hour crisis line.
 

National Sexual Assault Hotline

A confidential 24/7 service where you will be connected to a sexual assault service provider in your area. Provides emotional support and referrals. Can provide basic information about medical concerns and laws in your community. Phone or live chat 24/7.

Love Is Respect

A confidential 24/7 service. Peer advocates offer support, information and advocacy to young people who have questions or concerns about their dating relationships. Provides information and support to concerned friends and family members.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

Highly trained advocates are available 24/7 to talk confidentially by phone or chat with anyone experience domestic violence, seeking resources or information or questioning unhealthy aspects of their relationship. 

Solid Ground

Connects people in Seattle/King County with information, resources and referrals to support housing stability to stay in current home or need shelter.

Seattle Housing Authority

Provides long-term, low-income rental housing and rental assistance. The JobLink program includes career coaches and money mentors. 
 

Washington State 2-1-1

Statewide database of community resources, such as emergency housing, crisis intervention hotlines and employment assistance.
